The sailor is a passionate person fulfilling the desire to be sea, wind and movement. Sailing is an exercise in patience, preparing lines, attaching halyards, checking blocks, raising and lowering sails, paying attention to the tide, chasing happiness in the company of the wind and emotion.
A sailboat is a vessel seen as a home on the high seas, where the internal space is small and optimized, the backyard is gigantic, beautiful and unlimited.
There are several tour options. You can try it for just a few hours, one night or venture out for several days and nights, there are even options to spend a few days living on the sailboat, whether making a long distance crossing or simply staying moored in a fixed location.

A perfect region for a peaceful walk, with excellent restaurants and full of history.
Very popular as it is a calm region protected from tides and winds, it is an excellent place for stand up paddle boarding (SUP) and diving. A place that allows visitors to experience a bit of Paraty's history by visiting the Tapera fort, where there were cannons to protect the city, or even going around Mantimento Island. The story goes that during the colonial period, caravels were unable to reach the port of Paraty, so they docked on this island to exchange goods, hence the name Ilha do Mantimento.
In this region, there is also the possibility of enjoying local cuisine at the Caiçara Restaurant, undoubtedly one of the best in the region. But be aware that you need to make a reservation for this restaurant, so let our customer service center know and we'll help you make a reservation.

Clear water
This is one of the best regions, including the main islands of Paraty. We chose the name very assertively, as it is an area rich in clear and transparent waters.
As it is a region with several beaches and islands with crystal clear waters, it has become the most visited region by everyone who comes to Paraty. Take the opportunity to visit Ilha Comprida, the natural fish aquarium, or Saco da Velha, which enchants everyone with its small but cozy beach, and has one of the most visited restaurants in the region.
It doesn't stop there, if you think about clear waters, Cocos Island will certainly be among the best stops, even with an average depth of 6 meters you can see the white sand at the bottom and the fish swimming. There are still several other unique spots to visit, take the opportunity to spend several days and explore each of them.

Do you happen to know what a Fjord is? A fjord is considered when we have a long stretch of sea that enters the continent, normally this formation occurs in regions that have many glaciers that end up melting and giving way to sea water.
But wait, there are no glaciers or glacial valleys in Brazil. That's why in Paraty, we have a unique geological formation in the world, the Saco do Mamanguá, considered a Tropical Fjord.
A region to sail through kilometers surrounded by mountains and untouched landscapes. On this itinerary, you will be able to visit places such as Ilha da Cotia, Engenho beach or even Pão de Açúcar in Paraty., curiously bigger than the famous Sugarloaf Mountain located in our capital. Here, sailing and hiking are a very attractive and satisfying combination.

Northern Waters
Clearly the most visited region of Paraty Bay is the southern region, but the north leaves nothing to be desired. If we have Ilha Comprida with its rich natural life in the south, we have Ilha Comprida in the North that enchants everyone with a channel that crosses the middle of the island and creates a unique combination of colors.
It is in the northern region that Ilha do Araújo is located, one of the largest caiçara communities in the region. With kiosks and restaurants, it offers comfort for those who want to spend the day at the beach and enjoy local cuisine.
